Celebrating Modern Jewish Living Through Food, Tradition, and Family
Smoked salmon and cream cheese spirals are a savory and creamy make-ahead appetizer that everyone loves–make extra because these go fast!
The Backstory: What’s a party without the smoked salmon? These delicious two-bite noshes are perfect party appetizers and best of all, you can make them ahead and store them in your fridge until you are ready to serve them. Your guests (and even your kids) will love them. This recipe makes 24 smoked salmon and cream cheese spiral pieces, but If you are cooking for a holiday crowd, double the recipe so you have more than enough on hand. More of the Backstory after the recipe…
…The Backstory continues: Also note that I’ve written the recipe using chive and onion cream cheese (for a little more savory kick), but feel free to use plain cream cheese or any other vegetable flavored cream cheese that you prefer.
You can find this recipe and many more in my latest cookbook, Healthy Meals for Your Busy Life. In my new book, I’ve created a collection of delicious and satisfying meals from Couscous with Spinach Onions and Tomatoes to Orange Cinnamon French Toast with Strawberry Sauce — that you can prepare in 30 minutes or less. I know you’ll love them and that they’ll leave you feeling full, satisfied, and happy that you’ve made healthful choices that don’t sacrifice on taste!
