Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Spirals – Healthy Option

Smoked salmon and cream cheese spirals are a savory and creamy make-ahead appetizer that everyone loves–make extra because these go fast!

The Backstory: What’s a party without the smoked salmon? These delicious two-bite noshes are perfect party appetizers and best of all, you can make them ahead and store them in your fridge until you are ready to serve them. Your guests (and even your kids) will love them. This recipe makes 24 smoked salmon and cream cheese spiral pieces, but If you are cooking for a holiday crowd, double the recipe so you have more than enough on hand. Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Spirals

These two-bite appetizers will be the first things your guests will devour at your next cocktail party or holiday gathering. The smoked salmon and chive and onion cream cheese are the perfect combination of creamy and savory deliciousness.

Servings 12 servings

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup KRAFT PHILADELPHIA Chive and Onion 1/3 Less Fat than Cream Cheese*
  • 4 whole wheat flour tortillas, 10 inch
  • 8 ounces smoked salmon (lox), cut into strips

Instructions

  1. Spread 2 tbsp. cream cheese on each tortilla, leaving approximately 1 inch on the outer circle.
  2. Place 2 oz. smoked salmon on top of each.
  3. Roll up like a jellyroll and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. When ready to serve, slice each roll into 6 pieces, cutting on the diagonal.
