Eggs for Kids

The different colors that make up this breakfast will have the kids looking at all the colors that surround the star of the dish, the eggs. It is also a way of introducing different types of veggies to your kids.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs, sunny side up cooked the way you like them
  • 2 thin red pepper rings any color pepper can be used
  • 1/2 black olive or any grape can be used
  • 6 carrot sticks
  • 1/2 cherry tomato
  • 1 large lettuce leaf

Instructions

  1. Place the cooked eggs on a dinner size plate. Place the peppers around the whites of the eggs. Place the olive where a nose would be. Under that put the carrots into a shape of a mustache. Place the tomato to look like a little mouth under the mustache. Put the lettuce as though it was a beard on the chin.
  2. Serve with fresh fruit on the side and their favorite drink.
