Baked Potatoes with Kosher Bac'n Pieces
This comfort side dish is easy to prepare and is very tasty. There are so many different flavors yet they all work well together. The potato is a little mushy but still dense enough to absorb all that is added to it.

large baked potatoes
cooked in microwave for 8 minutes

McCormick Bac'n Pieces
to taste

fresh chives, cut in small pieces
to taste

tbsp.
sour cream

tbsp.
butter
-
black pepper
to taste

Kosher salt
to taste

Scrub the potatoes and prick each potato with a fork a few times and cook in microwave (place on a paper towel) for about 8 minutes until tender. Turn potato over after 4 minutes and finish cooking. Check to see if potatoes are soft, by piercing them with a toothpick. If not done continue cooking until done.

Remove from microwave and carefully cut each potato in half. Be careful as steam will emerge from potato. Put a half tbsp. of butter on each half and mash it lightly into each half of the potato, scooping up the potato gently to blend in the butter. Add the salt and black pepper to taste. and top with sour cream, bac'n pieces and chives. Serve while hot.
