Broiled Halibut (or Salmon) with Garlic and Tarragon
This delicious, light, and easy-to-prepare meal is packed with delicious flavors. The zesty marinade is a perfect balance to the hearty fish and the dish gets a final fresh note from sprinkle of fresh tarragon after broiling. This will easily become your go-to fish meal.

fresh minced garlic

lbs.
raw boneless halibut or salmon filets
(4 -5 oz. filets)

fresh tarragon, chopped
or 2 tbsp. dried

lemon, sliced

Mix together the Italian dressing mix with the water, vinegar, oil and garlic.
NOTE: Fran's Time Saving Suggestion: Substitute the first 5 ingredients with 1 cup of any light or fat- free Italian dressing.

Add to the halibut and marinate under refrigeration for at least 20 minutes or up to 6-8 hours for added flavor.

Broil, turning once until desired doneness. Discard any remaining marinade.

Sprinkle with remaining tarragon.

Serve with lemon slices.
